Energy Independence / Storage

Where does your solar go at night?

Store it. Use it. Keep more of it.

A home battery stores the solar you make in the day so you can use it at night, beat peak rates, and keep the lights on when the grid goes down. We fit Tesla Powerwall, Franklin, and EG4 to your solar, your loads, and your budget.

Power that stays yours.

Right now, your panels make power and the utility skims the margin. A battery flips that. You store what you make and spend it when the grid charges most, or when it goes dark.

i

Keep the lights on

When the grid fails, your battery kicks in within milliseconds. Fridge, internet, AC, medical devices, all still running. No 30-second generator delay, no fuel to manage, silent operation.

ii

Beat peak rates

APS peak-hour rates are 2-3x off-peak. Your battery automatically discharges during those expensive hours. Typical homeowner saves $400-$800 a year just on rate arbitrage.

iii

Use what you make

Right now you're selling excess solar back to the utility at wholesale and buying it back at retail. A battery lets you store and self-consume instead. Every kWh stored equals $0.15-$0.30 saved.

iv

No generator hassle

No propane deliveries. No gas runs. No oil changes. No roaring next to your bedroom at 2am. A battery does the same job, silent and maintenance-free.

5 stars from homeowners and roofers

Great company to partner with! They handled a solar detach and reset for us during an HVAC and roofing job for our customer. They were fast, professional, and made the whole project effortless for us. Will absolutely work with them again on other projects.

I was so stressed trying to find someone who could reset my solar while I was getting my roof replaced and ReGrid made the process SO easy and hands off for me. Couldn't recommend more! 10 stars! Thank you so much!

Over 30 years in the real estate industry i have found inspections are crucial. I started having ReGrid inspect solar systems making sure that they are operating and performing properly. Most buyers do not have experience reading solar electric bills and the only way you can determine performance is calling an expert.

I can't say enough about ReGrid. We have had rooftop solar panels for sixteen years, whole-home batteries for four years and a water heater on the roof since 1985. When it finally became necessary to replace our roof, I was pleasantly suprised to find one company who would coordinate with our roofing contractor to handle the disconnection, removal and reinstallation of all of our solar equipment, regardless of the manufacturer. ReGrid's project coordination was absolutely seamless. The photovoltaic panels were removed on Thursday, the water heater was removed on Friday, the tear-off and partial reshingle of the roof was completed on Saturday and the water heater was reinstalled on Sunday. We actually had running hot water again by 6:00 PM Sunday evening. The batteries and rails were reconnected and the photovoltaic panels were reinstalled and recommissioned only two days later -- once the rest of the roof was completed. It was an amazing ballet of contractors, engineers, technicians and managers all working together to complete a very complicated project in record time. I can highly recommend ReGrid if you want to simplify your life. They are the supreme solution to any solar roofing project.

Questions, before the quote.

Will it work with my existing panels?+

Yes. We integrate with your current solar array regardless of who installed it. No need to replace or modify panels.

How long does it last during an outage?+

For a whole home: 8-12 hours on a typical 13-16 kWh system. For essential loads only (fridge, lights, internet, a few outlets): 12-24 hours. And when the sun comes up, it recharges, so multi-day outages are survivable with normal solar daytime conditions.

Which brand will you install?+

We carry Tesla Powerwall 3, Franklin Whole Home, and EG4. Which one we pick depends on your solar, your home loads, your budget, and what is in stock. We walk through the tradeoffs during the consult - you have veto power on the final pick.

Can I add more batteries later?+

Yes. We size for your current needs but install systems that scale. Add a second battery in a year or two as needs grow.

Is installation disruptive?+

One-day install typically. We handle permitting, utility interconnection, and inspection. You're usually back on grid the same day.

What about incentives?+

APS and SRP run battery-specific programs (demand-response and storage incentives) that can offset cost. We check your exact eligibility during the quote and handle the paperwork. The federal 30 percent residential credit ended December 31, 2025 for systems you buy outright, so we never quote against it; if financing or a lease ever changes what you qualify for, we tell you in writing first.
