Mesa runs from older central neighborhoods around Main Street and Mesa Drive out to massive master-planned communities at the eastern edge. Las Sendas, sitting against the Tonto National Forest in east Mesa with about 3,400 homes, leans toward 1990s and 2000s concrete tile on larger lots with mountain exposure. Central and west Mesa skew toward shingle reroofs with smaller 12-to-22-panel arrays from the 2018-2022 boom, where the entire detach-roof-reset can wrap inside a single week.
