Phoenix housing splits into very different roof problems by neighborhood. Arcadia and the Biltmore corridor lean on 1950s-1970s ranch homes with low-slope sections, often a mix of clay tile or legacy shingles over flat-roof modified bitumen. Ahwatukee, sitting at the base of South Mountain, is overwhelmingly concrete tile from the 1980s and 1990s build-out and is now firmly in the underlayment-replacement window. North Phoenix and Desert Ridge skew newer, with Eagle and Hanson tile on tract homes from the 2000s onward and a known hail corridor that drives recurring storm-claim work. Historic districts like Willo, Encanto-Palmcroft, and Coronado layer Historic Preservation Office review on top of any reroof, which slows everything down.
Phoenix is our home base, and it is the densest reroof-on-solar geography in the state. The 85016, 85018, 85028 and 85048 zips are dense with homes built between 1995 and 2008 where the tile is still fine and the underlayment is shot, which is the classic detach and reset trigger. Two-story Ahwatukee homes from the early SRP and APS solar boom are their own case: a reset there has to be careful with original Quick Mount or IronRidge TileMount flashings that have already sat on the roof for a decade. Central Phoenix mid-century homes with foam roofs sitting underneath partial arrays are a different scope: the foam recoat plus partial panel reset gets sequenced together so the homeowner is not without a roof in monsoon season.
We work with licensed CR-42 roofing partners across metro Phoenix, from independent residential shops to Valley-wide production roofers. HOA boards in Ahwatukee, Desert Ridge, and the master-planned communities along the Loop 101 corridor run a reset through an ARC packet, and the Willo and Encanto historic overlays add a Historic Preservation Office review on top of that. We handle both. Every reset includes a torque report so the roofer's warranty conversation stays clean.

Work we have finished in Phoenix
Phoenix is the busiest city on our board and the one we have the most finished work to show for. Five completed jobs so far this year, three of them full detach and reset cycles, documented with 336 crew photos. Arrays ran from 23 panels up to 196, the largest array we have taken off and put back on any roof in the Valley. One 40-panel job needed two different mount types on the same house, 17 flat-roof mounts alongside 23 new shingle mounts, with an Enphase system and four batteries in the garage, and the solar removal was sequenced with a water-heater removal the same day. Another Phoenix job came back with 122 photos, the most thoroughly documented reset in our records. The work has been continuous from June through August 2026.
